5 club Petrie wins John Durman Scratch Trophy

Gog Magog hosted the rearranged County Seniors Spring meeting last Tuesday in wonderful sunny weather.

Andrew Petrie from Gog Magog GC won the John Durman Scratch Trophy with an impressive 5 club 72 gross two over par. Steve Trench 76 from Gog Magog came second on count back from John Yuill Links GC, Graham Goodman Saffron Walden GC and Kevin Diss Gog Magog GC.
The nett prizes went to Tom Gooch Ely City with a 70 nett followed by Peter Stearman Ely City Robert Lee Gog Magog GC and David Beecroft Gog Magog GC.
Nearest the pin winners were Graham Goodman on the 4th and Doug Poole on the 17th. Longest drive went to Keith Moore on the 7th.
