Hayns takes Route 66 to win at Cromer

The Cambridgeshire seniors held their away meeting at a sunny and windy Royal Cromer Golf Club this week.

The scores were quite high, that is apart from two exceptional rounds by David Hayns and Jeremy Baldwin. Early starter Hayns went out in 34 and came back in 35 shots for a 3 under par 69 gross and 66 net. This included an impressive 6 birdies, in what was his round of the season. Baldwin then shot a 71 gross net 70 which included 5 birdies.

Thanks must go to Royal Cromer Golf Club for putting on a memorable day for the seniors interms of course preparation and hospitality. Also to John Durman for providing the trophies which were presented during the evening.
